Design + Illustration + Fine Art + Photography

About

I’m an artist, illustrator, and designer currently living in and loving my home town of Baltimore.  As an artist and illustrator I have grown to love mixed media in the form of collage, paint, and computers.  I grew up in a family of artists and engineers, so I guess it was only natural to combine those things for my career.  My father, a computer engineer, was one of the first group of people to start using this fabulous thing we call the internet.  My mother, a wood-worker and painter, taught me to express myself through art and that it’s okay to get a little messy with it.  My step-father, a commercial photographer, taught me how to merge my love of art, science, and math through photography and a new program called Photoshop.  Yes, I’ve been using Photoshop since the early nineties and using it is almost second nature to me.  All of their influence and a healthy dose of my own experiences are responsible for the wildly creative and strange person I am today.

I’ve always had design in my heart.  Web design in particular.  I guess it’s one more way to bring the engineer and artist in me together.  Who knew programming languages could be so much fun?

Oh, I also love music…A LOT.  I was in a high school band that became a college band that fizzled out, and I also write my own songs from time to time.  What I really love is listening to music.  AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.  So back in 2007 it was only natural for me to start a music blog, Pasta Primavera.

Well, that’s me, or at least the highlights.  If you’d like to hire me, please head over to my contact page and we can make it happen.
